Warmachine Direct Southern Kriels: Kithguard Tunnel Rats

Tunnel Rats are a distinctly Pyg-influenced combat unit that originated in the jungles of Alchiere. These small but physically powerful Pygs are well-suited as pioneers and can quickly create entire networks of trenches and tunnels.

The Kithguard recognized early on the potential of these underground passages for surprise attacks. Particularly bloodthirsty and manic Pygs were formed into a close-combat shock force that hunkered down in the tunnels, maintaining and defending them until called upon to attack.

The Tunnel Rats have adapted to Western Immoren as well. Even in areas where their enemies believe the territory is well-scouted, the Kithguard uses the tunnel networks for ambushes – and the Tunnel Rats fight with a ferocity that has already become legendary.
